Margaret "Maggie" was born on April 17, 2017. Sadly, her 21-year-old mother passed away the same day from complications during her C-section (her third one). Her father is still alive but is not capable of caring for his children. Maggie's maternal family had all passed away, and nobody in the father's family was willing or able to care for her. An uncle and grandfather brought her to New Day the day after she was born with one syringe of milk.
Maggie arrived at New Day on April 18, 2017. We are excited that we got to experience all of Maggie's "firsts" with her - her first smile, her first steps, her first words, and to be the first ones to tell her about Jesus! Maggie is the 30th child to arrive at New Day!
