Birthday: October 7, 2014
I was born in Livingstone, Zambia to Carlos Hoobe and Alice Kaliyangile. My father was from Zimbabwe and my mother was from Zambia. Both of my parents died after short illnesses in 2018 and 2019. Since my grandmother was the only living relative that could be found by social welfare, she took me in for a time, but because of her age, she could not care for me and my three siblings: Kathryn, Trevor, and Luke. That is why I came to live at New Day on May 21st, 2019.
My grandmother thinks that I was born in 2014. Since my birthdate is unknown, my New Day family has decided they will celebrate my birthday each year on October 7.
At New Day, I am living in Mama Priscilla’s house.
