Terry was found by police wandering the streets when he was four years old. Because they were not able to find any family, Terry was taken to an orphanage three hours from New Day where he lived for eight years. When the orphanage was shut down by the government, Social Welfare brought him to New Day.
Terry joined the New Day family in late December 2019. Just before coming, the orphanage where he stayed gave him a birthday, as his was unknown. We celebrated his eleventh birthday on January 5, 2019, just after he arrived.
