Prince was born on April 24, 2011. His mother and father both developed a mental illness, and his father passed away in 2013. (The family thinks that Prince’s parents were “bewitched” by eating stolen food, but they more likely contracted cerebral malaria.) His mother is still alive, but is unable to care for him due to her mental illness.
Prince arrived at New Day in July of 2014, after Social Welfare did an investigation into his living situation.
