Omega Chilala was born on May 19, 2020. Her mother died on July 8th, possibly from a heart attack. Her relatives brought her to New Day to ask us to take her. The family said they did not have any means of caring for her and were concerned that she would die if she stayed in the village.
After seeking permission to take Omega, she became part of the New Day family on July 9th. She was dehydrated and sickly when she first arrived but she is doing much better now.
