Agness was born on September 7, 2011, about 20 miles from New Day. Her mother is still alive but is unable to care for her as she suffers from epileptic fits and has limited mobility of her left side due to a stroke years ago that caused her to fall into a fire. Agness was living with her mother and grandmother when they requested that New Day intervene, knowing they could not care for Agness.
Agness joined the New Day family in May of 2015 and lives in the Lukondo House with Mama Yolantah.
