Zelly Lungu was born on July 10th, 1957 in Petauke, but she was raised in Lusaka. Zelly is a widow whose husband died in August 2015. Together they raised five children, and she has many grandchildren!
Zelly accepted Christ as her Savior in 1991 after attending a revival service at a Baptist church in Lusaka. She was baptized the next year and served as a faithful member for the next 25 years.
Mama Zelly joined the New Day family in May of 2016 as the housemother of our Luse House. She has a full house of our “middle” and younger boys and has her hands full, but she does an excellent job of keeping those boys in line!
